Meet Leela White, the Newest Face at See Optometry
We are thrilled to introduce our new optometrist with the See Optometry team: Leela White.
For Leela, working in Victor Harbor isn’t just a career move, it’s a homecoming. Having grown up right here on the coast, Leela understands exactly what makes our community so special. After moving to Adelaide to complete her Bachelor of Medical Science and Master of Optometry at Flinders University, she knew her heart was always set on returning home to care for the community she knows and loves.
A Patient First Approach
You may already recognise Leela; she completed her final year university placement at See Optometry under Martin’s mentorship.
That experience shaped her commitment to thoughtful, patient-centered care. Having worked in both corporate and independent settings since then, Leela has returned to her roots, embracing the independent practice model where time, trust, and personal connection come first.
Leela believes that great eye care starts with a simple act: listening.
She takes the time to get to know her patients and their families, ensuring every appointment feels relaxed and thorough. Whether you’re coming in for a routine check or have specific concerns about your vision, Leela’s friendly and reassuring approach will leave you feeling informed and confident about your eye health.

When she isn’t helping patients see more clearly, Leela fully embraces the relaxed pace of coastal living.
