Leela White is a locally based optometrist who is proud to live and work in Victor Harbor. Having grown up in the area, she moved to Adelaide to study before returning home to care for the community she knows and loves. Leela is passionate about providing genuine, down-to-earth eye care in an independent practice setting, where time, trust, and personal connection truly matter.

Leela believes great optometry starts with listening.

She takes the time to get to know her patients, their families, and their everyday lives, ensuring care that feels relaxed, thorough, and tailored to each individual.

Her approach is friendly and reassuring, with a strong focus on helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their eye health at every stage of life.

Outside of work, Leela enjoys spending time in her garden, getting stuck into creative projects, and unwinding with a good book.

She values the relaxed pace of coastal living and the strong sense of community in Victor Harbor, and feels grateful to care for people she often sees around town.
